Summary
One in this fantasy adventure series chronicling the exploits of newspaper reporters Lois Lane and Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman). In this episode, Lois is disappointed and embarrassed when Clark is nominated for a journalism award and she simply gets the privilege of being his date at the Kerth Awards dinner. Meanwhile, the two reporters attempt to find the mastermind behind a sound device that is capable of putting people to sleep and destroying buildings. Clues lead to a rock star named Lenny Stoke and a cracked-up scientist named Derek Camden. In addition, Superman falls victim to the sound waves; Jimmy attempts to take some prize-winning photos but ends up being taken hostage by the villains; Lois heads out to impress Stoke after telling Clark that she wants to work on her own; and, in attempting to find the whereabouts of Camden, Clark winds up at Lenny's club, where he is shocked by Lois's attire. Commercials deleted.
