BABAR: BABAR'S TRIUMPH (TV)
Summary
One in this animated children's series from Canada based on characters from the books by Jean and Laurent de Brunhoff about Babar, king of the elephants. In this program, Babar tells his son about the creation of the Jungle Federation Council: The young King Babar attempts to unite the animals of the forest in a fight against the hunters who have been invading their land. Unfortunately, the King of the Rhinos does not feel that a united jungle is a good idea. Afraid of the rhinos, all the other animals, except the turtles, decide to reject the plan as well. Then, the King of the Rhinos is captured by hunters. King Babar learns of the abduction. Babar and his entourage decide to rescue the great rhino hoping to gain his support in their cause. When the hunters set fire to the forest, Babar realizes that if the animals of the forest do not unite they will all perish.
