Summary
One in this series of children's programs centering on a puppet named Rootie Kazootie and his human friend Big Todd. Highlights of this episode include: Poison Zoomack, a mean-spirited puppet, gains possession of a powerful magnet, which he uses to lure away precious items belonging to other members of the club; Big Todd, Rootie, and puppet Polka Dottie sing a song about shining shoes; Rootie reads from the "Tales of the Magic Kazootie" as his dog Gala Poochie acts out the role of an unhappy puppy who wishes to be a dog no longer; Big Todd and Rootie promote their Lucky Spot Ring; selected children take part in the Gala Poochie Quiz to win prizes for themselves and a randomly selected partner who is watching the show at home; Mr. Deetle Doodle, a mute policeman, attempts to get the magnet away from Poison Zoomack; and Rootie uses his magic Kazootie to make a strawberry sundae.
