Summary
Continued from T:38439. Part two of two in this comedy series about Paul and Jamie, a married couple who live in New York City. In this episode -- an extended flashback to 1992 -- Paul and Jamie feel they are losing touch with their own wedding one week beforehand. Among other things, their two families argue over the seating plan; Paul's sister Deb arrives with the news that she and husband Gary have separated; Paul is convinced by his tailor that his ill-fitting tux is fine; and Jamie -- who has been overeating from stress since Paul insisted that she quit smoking -- cannot fit into her wedding dress. The night before the wedding, Jamie and Paul are convinced by their families they should not spend the night together in their apartment or they will have bad luck. When neither can sleep apart from the other, Paul comes up with an idea -- with help from special guest star Lyle Lovett -- which allows them to privately confirm their commitment that evening and relax during the wedding the next day. Commercials deleted. (Both parts originally aired together as a special one-hour telecast on February 2, 1995 at 8:00 pm EST.)
