ONE DAY AT A TIME: ANOTHER MAN'S SHOES {SERIES FINALE} (TV)

Summary

One in this series of comedies about the lives and struggles of divorcŽe Ann Romano and her two daughters, Julie and Barbara. In this episode, brutish handyman Dwayne Schneider must go to Florida after the sudden death of his brother, whom he hasn't spoken to in nearly fifteen years. The deceased brother has two children in Florida and now there is no one to take care of them. Schneider makes arrangements to have the children move to Oregon to live with their aunt. The plans appear to be set when a telegram arrives saying the aunt has been thrown in jail for embezzlement. A decision must be made about what do to with the children and Schneider is at a crossroads. He is offered a job as a maintenance man in Florida, meaning the children can stay there and Schneider can take care of them. Commercials deleted.
