POLITICALLY INCORRECT {LARRY MILLER, JERRY SEINFELD, ED ROLLINS, ROBIN QUIVERS} {SERIES PREMIERE} (TV)
Summary
The first in this series of spontaneous comedy talk shows hosted by Bill Maher. Maher presides over a no-holds-barred forum whose members come from the worlds of politics, journalism, and entertainment in order to discuss current events -- no matter how controversial. In this program Maher talks with actor Larry Miller, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, political strategist Ed Rollins, and Robin Quivers, who is the co-host of "The Howard Stern Show." They discuss the following topics, among others: whether or not society has the right to publicly punish criminals by putting signs on their lawns stating what they did wrong; Paul Simon's statements against the violence in movies; tests used to discern what people wish to watch; and attempts being made to child-proof the world. Then Maher and comedian and writer Bill Scheft read off comic bits to each other in an effort to "clean out their notebooks," which is what they used to do when working at "Catch a Rising Star" to test out their material. Commercials deleted.
