HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET: HEARTBEAT (TV)
Summary
One in this dramatic police series about a department of reflective homicide detectives in Baltimore, Maryland. In this episode, Detectives Lewis and Kellerman investigate the murder of a college student who appears to have sold her body for heroin. Lieutenant Giardello decides to assign Detectives Munch and Howard to the investigation as well. However, Munch and Howard are expected to solve a crime that occurred ten years ago because it may be a link to the college student's murder. Meanwhile, Detective Pembleton's wife is pregnant, and he's keeping it a secret from the department. The only person who knows is his partner Bayliss, who has promised to keep quiet about the pregnancy. During their investigation, Munch and Howard find a body that's been missing for ten years encased in a brick wall. Munch comes up with an ingenious idea of how to solve this case, and takes matters into his own hands to track down the suspect and make him confess to the murder. Commercials deleted.
