HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET: I'VE GOT A SECRET (TV)

Summary

One in this dramatic police series about a department of reflective homicide detectives in Baltimore, Maryland. In this episode, Detectives Pembleton and Bayliss investigate the bizarre homicide of a burgler. The victim's body is found in the front seat of a car, but his blood is all over the back seat. Detectives Lewis and Kellerman are literally running down a suspect, but can't seem to apprehend him. Meanwhile, Detective Munch spots Sergeant Howard intimately kissing a stranger and decides to do some private investigation. Pembleton and Bayliss question a man who was their victim's partner in crime but still don't get a lead in the case. Lewis and Kellerman finally find their suspect digging a grave in his backyard. Lewis feels sympathy for the suspect because of his limited mental capacity, which reminds him of what he went through with his brother. On a tip, Pembleton and Bayliss talk to an emergency room nurse and a doctor who performed surgery on their victim. The nurse mentions that the doctor purposely may not have done an adequate job in the operating room, but Bayliss can't believe a trained professional would do something like that.
