FAMILY MATTERS: PARIS VACATION {PARTS 1 AND 2 OF 3} {EIGHTH SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about the Winslows, an African-American family living in Chicago next door to their annoying neighbor, Steve Urkel. In parts one and two of this special three-part season premiere, Steve begins experimenting with his latest scientific invention, Òthe Urk Pad,Ó a teleportation device that can instantly transport something -- or someone -- to any desired location. He has been working on his device with a French friend, Nicole, whom he met at a science convention; and so his first experiments involve sending things from Chicago to Paris. After Carl accidentally steps on the Urk Pad and finds himself in Paris, he has the bright idea that the entire family should take a vacation to France; so Carl, Harriet, Eddie, Laura, Steve, and SteveÕs suave clone Stefan embark on a Parisian adventure. EddieÕs vacation begins on a bad note, when his habitual girl-watching causes a car accident at a sidewalk cafe. On the other hand, Laura and Stefan are introduced to the glamorous side of Paris after a photographer spots Stefan on the street and urges him consider a modeling career. Meanwhile, Steve enjoys sightseeing with Nicole, never anticipating the evil plans that she has in store for him and his Urk Pad. The program concludes with scenes from part three. Includes commercials and promos. Continues with T:45932.
