DAYTIME TO REMEMBER, A: GENERAL HOSPITAL {STEVE'S PROPOSAL TO AUDREY} (TV)

Summary

One in this series of nine programs that features edited versions of classic episodes of ABC soap operas, including "All My Children," "One Life to Live," and "General Hospital." Hosted by country singer Reba McEntire, this episode was originally telecast on November 20, 1964. In this classic episode, Audrey March decides to leave the hospital, distressing Dr. Steve Hardy, due to his deep feelings for her. Steve wants to persuade Audrey to change her mind, but fears he could risk losing her altogether. Meanwhile, Audrey talks to her mother about her complicated situation, knowing that a return to the hospital would hurt more then her departure did. At Audrey's home, Steve tries to convince her that she belongs at the hospital. Although she refuses to return, she accepts his offer to help her find a job at another hospital. Steve then shocks Audrey with an interesting proposal. Includes commercials and promos. This program is closed-captioned.
