Summary
This program, a rebroadcast of an original episode, was
taped off the air with a camera on a tripod by Andy
Warhol for his private research and entertainment. This
program is part of the Warhol Foundation's donation to
the Museum of the artist's complete television
collection. It was taped from WPIX-TV. One in this
comedy series about the Anderson family -- Jim and
Margaret and their children Betty, Bud, and Kathy. In
this episode Bud hires an attractive female tutor to
help him with his failing English grades. Bud hopes
that in addition to their professional relationship they
will also be able to date, but Nelda spurns his
advances. Soon Bud becomes discouraged in the tutoring
sessions, primarily because he feels threatened by his
tutor's superior attitude. However, Jim has a plan,
however, to relieve Bud's intimidation, and it
involves--bowling. This program contains minor
technical problems. This represents the best copy of
this program currently available to the Museum.
