Summary
One in this series of information programs, hosted by Alan Richman and Nina Griscom, about the tastes and trends in restaurants around the U.S. Topics in this program include Pepi's Bar & Restaurant, the oldest eating establishment in Vail, Colorado; the Original Wolfie's 21 Restaurant, a landmark eatery in Miami Beach, Florida; and an interview about the food industry with renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent. In the first segment, restaurant owner Pepi Gramshammer and executive chef Peter Franke discuss the following topics: the length of time that Pepi's Bar & Restaurant has been operating; the authenticity of their Austrian menu; the reason that dinner is more formal then lunch; the tableside preparation of dinner menu items; and its vegetarian specials.
