ANOTHER WORLD {SHANE AND MICHAEL'S CAR CRASH} (TV)
Summary
One in this daytime serial set in the fictional town of Bay City, Illinois. This episode revolves around an automobile accident that kills both Shane and Michael. Donna is shattered upon learning that Michael was carrying an engagement ring for her when he died, and Lila is devastated by Shane's death and distraught to learn that his last words were about Vicky. Also, Carl returns home after a long absence and re-establishes ties with Rachel, although he is tormented by the fact that she stayed secretive about Amanda and Matt's treacherous plot. After informing Vicky that Shane died, Jake begs Paulina not to reveal that he failed to warn Shane about the slippery mountain road, but Vicky overhears this revelation. Also, Vicky promises not to tell her husband Jake that she was with Shane shortly before his death. Donna convinces her that if their marriage were ruined by this fact, then Michael's search for Vicky on that fateful night will have been in vain. And upon bringing Lila home that evening, Matt realizes that she is pregnant. Commercials deleted.
