FRIENDS: THE ONE WITH THE LESBIAN WEDDING (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about six Generation-X friends who live together in New York City and share a favorite haunt, a coffee bar called Central Perk. In this episode, Ross learns that his ex-wife Carol is planning on marrying her partner, Susan. Monica lands the catering job for the wedding, and Ross refuses to attend because he cannot understand why Carol thinks a same-sex marriage will work when their own marriage failed. Meanwhile, one of Phoebe's clients dies on the massage table and Phoebe fears the woman's spirit has entered her body. And Rachel is nervous about her mother coming into town, but she grows angry upon learning her parents are getting a divorce. Soon, Phoebe is acting like a spirit is possessing her body, which is driving everyone crazy. And Carol tells Ross that she may call off the wedding because of her parents' attitude. Ultimately, Ross convinces Carol to marry Susan and he offers to help the only way he can. At the wedding, Phoebe finally loses the spirit as the ceremony begins. Commercials deleted.
