Summary
The first of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Mary rejoices when Tom finally visits her with news that he has joined Alcoholics Anonymous, but she sinks into hysteria when he refuses to believe her fears about Chester Markham; Clete interviews Merle Jeeter about the death of Jimmy Joe; and Charlie makes Loretta promise to keep the secret of his lost testicle.
