Summary
The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Mary and Cathy are both upset over their mother's job as a police decoy for prostitution. Cathy does a good job convincing Mary that her baby-selling scheme can make enough money for them all to be happy, but she begins to have second thoughts when her sense of shame overwhelms her. Detective Johnson tries to trap Big Honey, the leader of Fernwood's prostitution network, who uses her CB radio to lure housewives to a life of crime. He wants to send Martha out on this assignment, but Mary will only consent to the plan if she can accompany her mother. So, the two of them get all dolled up and fill out job applications for work with Big Honey, a.k.a. Mrs. McQueen. Commercials deleted.
