Summary
The first of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Charlie and Loretta learn that the Wild Child has more in common with dogs than with people. The GGG holds a meeting to figure out the best way to help Tom get out of jail. Vern suggests that their best bet is to have Tom declared insane. He explains to Texas that once Tom is released from jail, they can get revenge in their own way. Cathy visits Tom in prison while Mary holds a memorial service for Dewey, the man her husband supposedly killed. Commercials deleted.
