Summary
The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Merle is surprised by a phone call from politico Buzz MacGregor, who wants to champion him in the upcoming Presidential race. Dr. Fermin visits the Haggers to check on Johnny Doe, who has become very sick from eating moth balls, but the prognosis does not look good. Mary has a difficult day when both Merle and Dennis come by to woo her at the same time. After Dennis leaves, Merle gives her a little hint on how they both can avoid committing adultery. Commercials deleted.
