STRANGERS WITH CANDY: THE VIRGIN JERRI {SECOND SEASON PREMIERE} (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series that follows the exploits of Jerri Blank, a forty-six-year-old high-school freshman and self-described former "user, boozer, and loser." In this episode, Coach Wolf's class discusses the topic of virginity. The coach encourages her class members to maintain purity and reclaim their virginity. As evidence of their commitment to chastity, the girls wear pins that say "Never Been Touched." After class, Jerri is ecstatic when a several girls invite her to eat lunch with them. While talking and eating, however, Jerri finds it hard to fit in with their anti-sex attitudes. When she meets sex-hungry Drake, Jerri blows off her new friends' warnings about his reputation and goes out on a date with him anyway. He suggests they go to his friend's camper, but Jerri insists that they go to a pizza parlor, where they see Jerri's friends Tammy and Jimmy. Eventually, Jerri and Drake do go to the camper, but Jerri repels Drake's advances. The next day at school a hostile Drake spreads a rumor that he and Jerri had sex, leaving Jerri socially ostracized -- until she turns the tables on him. Commercials deleted.
