ANNIE MCGUIRE: THE COMPUTER {UNAIRED EPISODE} (TV)
Summary
A never-aired episode in this comedy series in which Mary Tyler Moore plays a Bayonne, New Jersey, widow who has recently remarried, with she and her new spouse bringing along kids from their previous marriages. In this episode, Nick, Annie's new husband, tries to instill a sense of discipline in his son, Lenny, through means that Annie and Nick's father, Red, don't like. Meanwhile, both Nick and Lenny have become obsessed with the new computer in the kitchen, using it late into the night for quite different purposes. In Lenny's case, it's to flirt with women online under his handle, "The Bayonne Bomber." This leads to confusion when Annie believes that Nick has been using the computer to flirt with women. When the confusion is cleared up, Nick realizes he must punish Lenny, leading to a series of complications that affect all members of the family. Commercials deleted.
