UNDECLARED: PARENTS' WEEKEND (TV)
Summary
The second of two programs on this tape. One in this comedy series about a group of six college friends working out the challenges of life at the University of Northeastern California. In this episode, Parents' Weekend at UNEC puts Steven and his friends on edge. Marshall feels stress because he hasn't told his parents that he has switched his major to music; he hopes to break the news by performing in front of them at the Parents' Weekend Talent Show. Steven finds himself in the awkward position of mediating between his estranged parents, both of whom show up for the weekend. Rachel's mother stumbles across a stash of cigarettes and condoms in her daughter's room, and Rachel panics and blames Lizzie for the contraband. Lloyd's sister Amanda shows up from the U.K., and Lloyd learns that Amanda is eager to meet Ron since she has talked to him on the telephone so many times when she has called for Lloyd. When they finally, Ron is stunned by how beautiful Amanda is. Amanda tells Ron that she wants to lose her virginity to him, which sends him into a spiral of nervousness. Ron figures that if he tells Lloyd about his sister's request Lloyd will put an end to the whole proposition, but Lloyd is surprisingly forbearing. Meanwhile, Steven's original fear that his parents might kill each other gives way to a different, but no less awkward, situation. Commercials deleted.
