SCRUBS: MY TWO DADS (TV)

Summary

One in this comedy series about hospital intern J.D. Dorian, his peers, and the doctors and nurses with whom they work.

In this episode, Elliott's patient Jared is not improving and asks her to flash her breasts at him so he might feel better. Meanwhile, J.D. discovers that a procedure has been accidentally scheduled for a just-dead patient, earning him the praise of Dr. Kelso and an invitation to golf with him. Later, Dr. Cox is furious to hear what J.D. did; it was actually an insurance ploy set up by Cox to get a procedure done on a sick woman with no insurance. Turk and Carla quarrel after she thinks that all he wants out of their relationship is the sex that he has yet to receive. Goaded on by J.D., Elliot finally decides to flash Jared, who miraculously improves. Wanting to apologize to Carla with a gift, Turk decides that a pen might make a romantic choice, but strapped for time he gives her one he finds in what he thinks is the lost and found box. Dr. Cox reveals to J.D. how much he hates Kelso, feeling that his concern is in what is best for the patient while Kelso's is what is best for the business of the hospital.

Later, as the other interns chuckle at the X-rays of people with items lodged in their behinds, Turk learns that what he thought was the lost and found box is actually the "ass box" where these particular items are stored. On the golf outing with Dr. Kelso, J.D. is shocked when Dr. Cox arrives and beats Kelso, a feat he apparently accomplishes with pleasure every week. That night during the throes of intimacy, Turk admits to Carla where the pen came from, but, surprisingly, she is not upset. During his round of golf, J.D. must decide whether he should join Cox or Kelso's side. Commercials deleted.
