QUANTUM LEAP: RUNNING FOR HONOR (TV)
Summary
One in this fantasy/science fiction series about Dr. Sam Beckett, a scientist who "leaps" into other people's lives against his will as the result of a flawed time travel experiment. In this episode, Sam leaps back to 1964 and into the body of Commander Tommy York, star track athlete and class valedictorian at the Prescott Naval Academy. While initially stumped as to what his mission is, Sam eventually learns that at one time he was the roommate of Phillip Ashcroft, a former cadet who was expelled from the Academy due to his suspected homosexuality. As Al sophomorically taunts Sam with the idea that he too may be gay, the good Doctor must prevent the bigoted cadets from slaying both him and Phillip. Commercials deleted.
