SHIELD, THE: TWO DAYS OF BLOOD (TV)
Summary
One in this series about tough guy detective Vic Mackey, his family, and his coworkers. In this episode, after Gilroy is in a hit-and-run accident that kills gangbanger Anthony Nunez, he must turn to Vic for help in covering it up, while Dutch unwittingly investigates. Meanwhile, the Strike Team busts a cockfighting/ firearms ring where they find a man willing to sell out kingpin Pazi if it means his chickens will be saved. Also, Danny worries about Julien's mental state, but he assures her that he is fine and that he is undergoing "sexual reorientation" therapy with his reverend. Hoping to get Dutch off Gilroy's scent, Vic teams up with him, trying to convince him that Nunez was killed during a gang ritual "toss-and-shoot," however, Dutch is too good a detective to be swayed that easily. To penetrate Pazi's ring undercover, Lemonhead and Shane are taught the ways of cockfighting. As Vic works on saving Gilroy, he uncovers some facts about the Chief that he previously was unaware of, sparking his suspicions that Gilroy may be using him and Aceveda. Commercials deleted.
