FRIENDS: THE ONE WITH RACHEL'S OTHER SISTER (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about six Generation-X friends who live together in New York City and share a favorite haunt, a coffee bar called Central Perk. In this episode, the gang celebrates Thanksgiving at Monica's place. Chandler convinces the neurotic Monica to use their wedding china for dinner, while Joey -- as a cast member of "Days of Our Lives" -- forgets to attend the Macy's Thanksgiving's Day Parade. Therefore, Joey is forced to collaborate with Phoebe on a good lie to exonerate him with his bosses. Meanwhile, Rachel's insulting sister Amy tags along to the feast after her married boyfriend cancels their own plans. Later, the self-absorbed Amy raises the idea of who would get Emma were Rachel and Ross to die. When, Rachel and Ross say they would choose Monica and Chandler as opposed to Amy, Amy is upset while Chandler is honored. Thus begins a series of "what ifs" surrounding who would get Emma were various people to die, with Chandler intent on proving that he could be a strong father figure. The action culminates in a slap fight between Rachel and Amy, Joey learning to lie, and a precarious moment for Monica's beloved dishes. Commercials deleted.
