SEX AND THE CITY: LET THERE BE LIGHT (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about Carrie Bradshaw, a single Manhattanite who writes a popular sex-advice column for a newspaper, while dishing out dating advice and dirt with her three closest friends. In this episode, Carrie is starting a relationship with a European artist, Alexander Petrovsky, who is busy travelling and runs his business out of his loft. She soon wonders if she is simply his latest conquest. Meanwhile, Charlotte decides to help the blind, consequently asking Carrie to help her through a department store blindfolded so that she can experience a sightless person's experience. Samantha dates a young man, Smith, of whom she is tiring. When they are invited to a party, she reconnects with an old flame and has a brief and unsatisfying encounter with him. She quickly realizes that Smith is more understanding and loving than she assumed. As for Miranda, she runs into former boyfriend Dr. Robert Leeds, who lives in her building, while Steve is moving back in with her. Steve decides to have a word with Dr. Leeds, but realizes that Leeds has long since gotten over Miranda. When Carrie is ready to explain to Petrovsky that she cannot go on with their relationship, he responds with a surprise of his own.
