Summary
The first episode of the two-episode premiere of this dramatic series that explores criminal cases from the point of view of the jury, from jury selection to the trial's conclusion. In this episode, tempers flare as the jury must decide whether a young Latino boy, Carlos Gutierrez, intentionally or accidentally fired a gun through Craig Sheridan's bedroom window, killing him. The jurors heatedly consider such facts as whether a playground squabble provoked Gutierrez, what role his friends played in the incident, and whether the young boy's brain is developed enough to know right from wrong. As the jurors race towards a decision, considering too whether Gutierrez should be tried as an adult, Juror #8 goes missing. Commercials deleted.
