Summary

At Christmastime in Korea, Murrow and reporters interview U.S. soldiers, Marines, airmen, and nurses who send messages home, express varying attitudes toward the war, and describe the battles and their work. Includes a Roman Catholic church service, troops shopping in Seoul, and mail exchange with North Korea. Korean girls broadcast from a plane urging North Koreans to stop fighting. Includes interviews with French and English forces and shows Ethiopian troops playing field hockey. Series won 1952-1953 Emmy Award.
