I LOVE LUCY: LUCY GOES TO THE HOSPITAL (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedies about the escapades of Lucy Ricardo, a zany redheaded housewife with show business aspirations, her Cuban-born bandleader husband Ricky Ricardo, and their best friends and neighbors Fred and Ethel Mertz. This episode centers around the preparations for the birth of Lucy's first child. Even though Ricky and the Mertzes rehearse for the trip to the hospital, bedlam ensues once Lucy is ready to go. Ricky causes a commotion in the waiting room when he appears in the voodoo costume for his nightclub act. The episode concludes with the birth of their son, "Little" Ricky.
