Summary
One in this series of documentaries. In this program, Walter Cronkite investigates genetic research. He explains, briefly, the latest advances in molecular biology; he then talks with Walter Sullivan, science editor of The New York Times, and with university professors from Oxford University and the California Institute of Technology. Topics include genetic experimentation and selective breeding, fetology and genetic counseling for family planning, as well as the fear of genetic manipulation. Commercials deleted.
