M*A*S*H {MASH}: OUR FINEST HOUR (TV)
Summary
One in this series of comedy programs about the men and women of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (M*A*S*H), stationed behind the lines during the Korean War. In this hour-long episode, television journalist Clete Roberts returns to the 4077th for a follow-up on his earlier report on the war and interviews members of the unit. Hawkeye talks about how he copes with the war and Colonel Potter discusses the staggering number of patients who come and go through the 4077th. Through his interviews, Roberts learns the following information (shown in color flashbacks): the most difficult problems Radar and Klinger face as the company clerks; what they all miss the most about home and what the first thing they will do when the war is over; how the feelings everyone has for one another creates a family atmosphere; the many friends who have departed and arrived during the war; the strange relationship between Hawkeye and Major Houlihan; finding ways to relax during a war; how the war has changed them, for better or worse; what they will remember most about the war, if anything. Includes commercials and promos. (Interview segments are in black-and-white.)
