
PATTY DUKE SHOW, THE: PATTY THE DIPLOMAT (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series starring Patty Duke in a dual role as a pair of "cousins, identical cousins... /Diff'rent as night and day." In this episode, Patty begins bragging to her friends about a letter she received from the premier of the Soviet Union. When an official from the U.S. State Department arrives to investigate the letter, Patty boasts that she is working closely with the State Department to improve relations between the United States and Russia. The kids at school tease her about the letter and don't believe a word she says. When Patty and her brother, Ross, call the Kremlin and try to tape Patty talking to the premier, they only succeed in running up a huge phone bill and finding out the correct time in Russia. Includes commercials.
