TAXI: MAMA GRAVAS (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series about the employees of a New York City cab company. In this episode, Alex's friendship with Latka Gravas is sorely tested when he feels a strong attraction towards Latka's mother, Greta, a youthful, statuesque widow visiting from the "old country" for a few days. When Latka learns that the two have already spent an intimate evening together, he assumes that they will be getting married soon and starts calling Alex "Papa." However, when he realizes that Alex and his mother do not intend to get married, he feels that he must defend his family honor by breaking off his friendship with Alex. Includes a commercial, promos, and public service announcements.
