T. J. HOOKER: NIGHT VIGIL (TV)

Summary

One in this police drama series about the lives of Sgt. T. J. Hooker and his partner, Officer Vince Romano. In this episode, Officer Sheridan walks into a deli to get coffee and gets gunned down by a man shooting "cop killer" bullets that can penetrate a bulletproof vest. With Sheridan in the hospital in critical condition, Hooker seeks out the shooter, ostensibly to prevent other cops from being gunned down, but really out of a desire for vengeance. After roughing up the man who sold the bullets to the gunman, Hooker gets into trouble with his superior officers for neglecting to follow proper procedure and is ordered to stay off the case. Meanwhile, the man who shot Sheridan shoots another cop during a jewelry heist. Includes commercials (including Tom Bosley for Glad), promos, and an ABC sports update with Dick Schaap. This program is closed-captioned.
