Summary

One in this series of current events documentary programs, hosted by Edward R. Murrow. The first portion of this broadcast examines the Savannah River H-Bomb project and the devastating effect it has had on the surrounding countryside. The second part of the program is a report on conditions in the segregated community of Shreveport, La. We see the poor schools, the miserable housing allotted to the blacks and hear what the white government of the city is doing to alleviate the inequalities present in the community.
