NAME THAT TUNE (TV)

Summary

One in this series of musical game shows in which pairs of contestants vie for cash prizes by identifying popular songs. In this program, host George De Witt introduces contestants and the game begins. Songs included are "Jingle Bells" and a "Golden Medley" with "Around the World in 80 Days," "Moonlight and Roses," and "Frosty the Snowman." De Witt introduces two more contestants, ten-year-old Eddie Hodges and Major John Glenn, Jr., who play "Golden Medley" for $15,000. Eddie then sings "The Gospel Train" with vocal backup provided by De Witt and Glenn. Includes commercials. (Network affiliation varies; as above, 1954 to 1959.)
