One in this series of animated programs for adults about the town of South Park, which is populated by an oversexed school chef, a psychotic teacher, Jesus Christ, and a group of acerbic, foul-mouthed youngsters. In an homage to "A Charlie Brown Christmas," the kids practice a Nativity pageant and later catch snowflakes on their tongues. Kyle's mother interrupts rehearsal to chastise Mr. Garrison for casting her Jewish son in a Christmas play, and soon, controversy rages across South Park over the role of religious holidays in public schools. Kyle tells the kids the myth of Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo, who brings presents to children of all faiths. After he is scoffed by Cartman, Kyle sadly sings, "A Lonely Jew on Christmas." But, at home, a magical log of feces leaps out of Kyle's toilet bowl and cheerily cries out, "Howdy Ho!" The spunky Mr. Hankey sings and dances across the bathroom, spreading holiday cheer -- and feces -- everywhere. Kyle's Orthodox father is shocked to find his son holding a chunk of human waste, with a Christmas greeting smeared on the mirror. At the bus stop, Kyle has no luck persuading Mr. Hankey to dance for his friends. At rehearsal, all religious references are excised from the pageant, and when Cartman belts out a derogatory song about Kyle's mother, the Christmas Poo jumps into Cartman's face. Kyle's visit with the school counselor results in a similar scatalogical run-in with Mr. Hankey, and the boy is swiftly committed to a mental hospital. On the night of the pageant, the kids perform drab interpretive dancing, supposedly set to the work of minimalist composer Philip Glass, causing the incensed parents to riot. But the mischievous fecal sprite comes to the rescue, ending the riot and spreading the true spirit of the holidays. Includes a commercial parody for the Mr. Hankey Construction Kit. Commercials deleted.
