MILLER LITE BEER {ART DIRECTORS CLUB, 1978: 57TH
ANNUAL EXHIBITION, REEL 1 OF 4}
Summary
In this commercial for Lite Beer from Miller, former New York Yankees manager Billy Martin is shown sitting at a restaurant table with two friends. "There's this big argument going on about Lite Beer from Miller," says Martin. He explains that some guys think Lite Beer tastes great, while other guys think what's great about it is that it's less filling than regular beers. "I feel very strongly both ways," says Martin. "After all, I'm not the kind of guy who ever gets into an argument." Slogan (supered): "Everything you always wanted in a beer. And less."
