One in this series of dramatic specials presented by Hallmark. This drama concerns a taxi ride that a worldly, middle-aged woman takes with a garrulous New York City taxi driver. Although the two live in different worlds, their conversation reveals the unhappy similarities of their troubled marriages. Eva Marie Saint plays the woman who is travelling to Caracas to follow a young tennis player; the woman is separated from her husband, who is a manufacturer in London. Martin Sheen is the loquacious taxi driver who reveals much about his own confused feelings while prying into his customer's life. As the rush hour ride nears its end, the two give each other advice in their attempt to solve each other's problems. Commercials deleted.
