SUSPENDED IN TIME: THE STORY OF POMPEII (TV)

Summary

This documentary focuses on the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, which was buried in ash and lava in 79 A.D. when the nearby volcano Vesuvius erupted. The program is based in large part on the "Pompeii 79 A.D." exhibition of artifacts that visited cities throughout the United States in 1979. Included is footage of modern day Pompeii. Includes commercials.
