DUPONT: WEDDING WINDSHIELD {29TH INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING AWARDS: WORLD'S BEST TELEVISION COMMERCIALS OF 1988}
Summary
In this commercial for DuPont, a young woman is shown walking down the aisle on her wedding day. The announcer explains that her plans for a perfect wedding were nearly shattered two months earlier during a horrifying automobile accident. Because her car was equipped with a new type of windshield glass developed by DuPont, the razor-sharp glass stayed on the outside. Although she suffered bruises and a concussion, she avoided additional disfiguring injuries. Slogan (supered): "DuPont. Better things for better living."
