Summary

The second of two episodes on this tape. One in this satirical soap opera series about Mary Hartman, a housewife from Fernwood, Ohio. In this episode, Mary calls the local counseling help line and feels much better about her problems with Tom. Meanwhile, Tom confesses to Ed that he is having a tough time accepting Mary's actions with Dennis, and Betty expresses the hope that the Hartmans' marital discord will open the door for an unlikely liaison between Mary and Howard. Clete Mizenheimer makes an appointment with Cathy to talk about her television career, and Merle and Jimmy Joe Jeeter continue to press Loretta for devotion to their cause. Commercials deleted.
