MANUFACTURERS HANOVER BANK: CONWAY/AUTO LOAN
{ART DIRECTORS CLUB, 1978: 57TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION,
REEL 8}
Summary
In this commercial for Manufacturers Hanover Bank, several people are standing on the valet parking line in front of a restaurant, waiting for attendants to bring their cars. When a particularly battered-looking jalopy pulls up, a man explains to his wife that he could help its owner get a new car loan at Manufacturers Hanover Bank, where he works. The jalopy's owner, played by actor Tim Conway, asks a few questions about getting a loan, but doesn't admit that he is the owner. Slogan (supered): "Manufacturers Hanover. It's banking the way you want it to be."
