TO BE PERFECTLY FRANK {FRANK SINATRA} (RADIO)
Summary
One in this series of programs in which singer Frank Sinatra plays and performs music for fifteen minutes. "I can spin the discs or make with the voice as the spirit moves me," explains the host, addressed by announcer Eddie King as "Maggio" in honor of his breakthrough acting role in the film "From Here to Eternity." This is a rebroadcast of a program that originally aired on NBC on April 16, 1954. Sinatra begins the show by singing "Just You, Just Me," after which he plays his own recording of "Young at Heart." This is followed by recordings of Teresa Brewer's "Bell Bottom Blues" and Sinatra's own "Lamplighter's Serenade." Sinatra concludes by spinning the Pied Pipers' "Please Understand."
