One in this series of summer replacement shows hosted by Jack Paar. Highlights of this program include the following segments: Jack Paar performs a comic monologue in which he discusses housing for veterans, the cost of food, free trips being given away by drugstores, the women's fashions, the effect of the economy on motion pictures, and Britain's seventy-five percent tax on films; Paar then presents a twenty-five percent movie in order to show what the British should get for the price they are paying; Paar explains why Eddie Cantor pops his eyes; then the Page Cavanaugh Trio performs a musical number; the not-so-alluring Miss Gertrude Hutch talks about becoming a beauty contestant, her three piece handkerchief bathing suit, being a model, and her future husband; Trudy Erwin performs "'S Wonderful"; and Jack Paar discusses farming in America and presents his version of a wealthy farming family. Includes commercials and a public service announcement.
