Summary

One in a series of dramatizations of actual case histories taken from the files of juvenile delinquency court. This episode concerns Johnny Marsh, a tough boy from the slums in juvenile court for robbing a bookie. Johnny's parents are alcoholics and completely ignore him. Johnny joins the local gang and becomes involved in small-time local rackets and burglaries. He is caught and paroled many times in the course of the next few years and becomes well known to juvenile authorities. The ex-con brother of one of the gang members involves the boys in bigger and bigger jobs. Johnny decides to rob a sporting goods store and is caught. At the end of the program Mr. Fred Finsley, Western Director of the National Probation Association, discusses the case of Johnny Marsh and speculates upon the causes of Johnny's troubles.
