MR.MOTO: A FORCE CALLED XO-7 (RADIO)

Summary

One in this series of crime dramas based on J.P. Marquand's famous character Mr. I.A. Moto, the Japanese-American secret agent. In this episode, Mr. Moto gets an urgent call from his friend Mr. Carlton, who fears for his own life and for the security of the American people. Carlton explains that he has been working on a top-secret project to create XO-7, the worldÕs deadliest atomic weapon, and that a Russian agent is blackmailing him in order to get the plans. Carlton needs Mr. Moto to help him safely travel to Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters in Washington, D.C., so that he can inform the government of the Russian plot. The assassins reach Carlton before he can carry out his mission, however, so Mr. Moto has the duty of keeping XO-7 from falling into the wrong hands. Moto suspects that CarltonÕs partner Bradley might know something about the plot to steal XO-7. Nevertheless, no one has an inkling of BradleyÕs deranged plot to sacrifice thousands of innocent American citizens in order to achieve world peace until it is almost too late. Cataloging of this program was made possible by Ralph Guild, 1999.
