One in this series of children's programs featuring dramatizations set to music, with Irene Wicker as "The Singing Lady." The story in this episode is taken from Carl Maria von Weber's opera "Oberon," and music from the opera is played on the piano throughout the program. In the story, the fairy king Oberon, searching for one pair of completely faithful lovers, tests the love of Sir Huon, a knight of Charlemagne, and Reiza, daughter of the caliph of Baghdad. When the program concludes, Wicker offers a brief preview of the following week's episode, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Includes commercials for Kellogg's Rice Krispies.

(This series originated on WGN in Chicago in 1931, and aired on NBC Blue from 1932 to 1943 and on other networks from 1943 to 1952.)
