LUCY SHOW, THE: LUCY AND VIV REMINISCE (TV)
Summary
One in this comedy series starring Lucille Ball as Lucy Carmichael. In this episode, flashbacks from previous episodes help Lucy and previous "Lucy Show" character Vivian Bagley Bunson reminisce about old times. Lucy needs a nurse to care for her after she breaks her leg falling out of bed. Mr. Mooney arranges for Viv, who lives on the east coast, to visit Lucy. Excited about seeing each other, the two women recall misadventures from the time when they both lived on the east coast. Flashbacks include the following segments: the two friends crawl into a sewer to retrieve a penny; Lucy uses stilts to get onto an upper bunk bed; the pair join a volunteer fire department; Lucy and Viv put a TV antenna on the roof; the two install a shower; and Lucy buys a boat. As the program concludes, Viv has an accident of her own, and Mr. Mooney is forced to nurse them both. Commercials deleted.
