TIME TO SAY GOODBYE? {TAPE 2 OF 2} (TV)

Summary

Continued from T:60186. Tape two of two. This made-for-television movie is based on a true story about the case of Dr. Gerry Klooster, a California physician who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The court battle continues, and Ruth and Kristen suffer as a result of damaging testimonies given. Chip finally admits that he kidnapped his father in order to prevent him from meeting with Dr. Kevorkian. Although the California courts rule in favor of Kristen, the Michigan courts favor Chip's case, and the entire matter becomes a federal issue. Eventually, Kristen is granted custody of her father, but only on the condition that Ruth is never allowed to be alone with him. Gerry becomes very agitated, and he worries that Chip might abduct him again. However, Gerry is reunited with Ruth during his final days. Commercials deleted.
